You would think that someone who worked as much as he did, he would have no problem getting to sleep, but no - Ian almost never slept. Maybe he had insomnia or some shit like that or maybe he was just restless. Either way, he was up and moving and it was well into the early hours of the morning. He had decided against looking at his clock, fearing what numbers would be staring back at him, and opted instead to just get dressed and go meet Nina like he was suppose to. He had actually been mildly surprised when he learned that she was still awake, but he wasn’t going to complain. It was something to do. He turned off his laptop and grabbed his blazer, sure that it was going to be chilly in the morning, and bounded down the stairs of his apartment and outside. He had been right; it was rather cold out. Luckily, he only lived a couple of blocks from Starbucks, so he just walked that short distance and soon enough, he was walking into the warmth and comfort of the building. If he knew Nina (which he did), she would be here in a matter of minutes, leaving him just enough time to order himself a medium coffee and sit down at one of the tables. Due to the hour, it was still rather empty, which he was thankful for. He didn’t feel like having a bunch of cameras in his face right now.
I may or may not of had a nightmare about…..certain things. Either way, I’m up and very bored.
Hey Ian!
Well hey there, Nina. Why are you up at this time of day?
Vague…very vague….
Trust me, as long as there’s coffee involved, I will not stand anyone up. Even if it was some psychopath murder…. okay, maybe I would stand them up, but you get my point.
I wish you could see me facepalming right now, because I totally am. Guessing you want Starbucks?
I tend to make people do that, if you haven’t noticed. And of course Starbucks! It’s the best coffee place to ever exist! Though, I do think they should lower their prices.
Oh god…Don’t get started on economics at this hour. I’ll meet you there just…no economics. I can’t handle that right now.

Vague…very vague. Care to elaborate, Dobrev? Or am I going to have to use the promise of coffee to get it out of you?
You’re going to have to use the promise of coffee to get it out of me, Somerhalder. It’s the only way I’m giving you any details.
Fine, I will buy you a coffee. If you stand me up though, I shall be highly disappointed in you.
